About Me

My photo
Karen E. Overton
I love to ramble and I dearly love to quilt, so I'm a self-proclaimed "Quilt Rambler" with the gift of gab and the glee of show and tell. I'm taking the plunge into this new and exciting world of blogging. A writer needs an audience, and I figured a rambler does too. I don't profess to be witty or intelligent; in fact, my lacking in these qualities will quickly shine forth! But I love to tell stories - which are usually quilt related or humorous "Calamity Jane" type stories. Just my take on this journey called life that the Good Lord has bestowed upon me. I tend to learn things by the school of hard knocks and try to find humor in these life lessons. It is my hope and desire that the time you spend reading my ramblings will be a blessing to you in some form or fashion. Thanks for sharing this journey.
