I'm trying something new - took this video with my Verizon Wireless Droid and trying to figure out how to get it online...it's not the best quality or content, just my first attempt at Rambling while I quilt.. this was the quilt on the frame today and I was in the mood to play (grin).
Let me know if this sort of post is interesting or beneficial and I'll do my best to learn more about this media - and quilt with darker thread and better light (grin) so you can actually see what I'm doing!
Please give me feedback as to if this is working or not - I'm clueless (grin)
I enjoyed seeing your 'puffs' again and seeing you work.
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to see the process how others work, I really enjoyed it, thanks for sharing, and I look forward to more :)
ReplyDeleteAh, Karen, you make it look SO easy!
ReplyDeleteI think training videos would be great. Would be like having you here beside me to help remember all those little things.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, I am gong to be brutal, this is the type of video I skip over. The sound quality is poor and the visual quality is also bad. I know the price is right and your sharing your ability, but my time is short and I don't care to be frustrated with the inability to see the
ReplyDeleteimage. For demo's you need high contrast...your audience needs to easily see what your talking about.
Easier to listen that way.
No unkindness intended, just an opinion.
Yes!!!! I definitely enjoyed watching you quilt and listening to you describe what was occurring.
ReplyDeleteThe description was helpful as it was difficult to see the tone on tone colors. I would love to see more though as you refine your video techniques. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteKaren, It is nice to be able to put a voice to your words! I love the idea of watching you quilt, and would love to see more. But I do have to agree with the whole contrast thing, light thread dark back ground or visa versa would be wonderful. But I do thank you for taking the time to share with us.
ReplyDeleteSo more, more, more please!
Karen - I love it! Really brings your blog to life- ha ha! Seriously, I did enjoy hearing you and seeing how you do what you do. Please do more!
ReplyDeleteWell I certainly did enjoy it and I hope to see more sometime. Thanks. Shirley
